Delivery Policy
At The Cosy Chapter Studio, many of our items are handmade, personalised, or carefully curated to order. We take pride in creating each order with care and attention to detail.
Processing Time
Please allow up to 2 working days for your order to be prepared before dispatch.
Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will begin processing on the next working day.
During peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer, but we will always aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.
Shipping
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery is typically:
- Standard UK Delivery: 2–5 working days
- Express Delivery (if offered): 1–2 working days
Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control, including courier delays and adverse weather conditions.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and will be displayed before payment is completed.
Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate at the time of ordering.
We cannot be held responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect address information provided by the customer.
Lost or Delayed Orders
If your order has not arrived within 10 working days of dispatch, please contact us at hello@thecosychapter.co.uk and we will investigate with the courier.
Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
Non-Personalised Items
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to cancel and return most non-personalised items within 14 days of receiving their order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging where possible.
- The customer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Once the return has been received and inspected, any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method.
Personalised & Made-to-Order Items
As many of our products are personalised or handmade specifically for you, these items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Personalised mugs
- Personalised tumblers
- Custom bookmarks
- Personalised gift items
This policy is in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs showing the damage or fault
Where appropriate, we will offer:
- A replacement item
- A refund
- A partial refund
at our discretion and in accordance with your statutory rights.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will usually be processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item or confirming the fault.
